How our graded standard size sets work: sets of 8, 10 and 12 every 2 inch, and sets of 12 and 20 every 1 inch, for boutiques and stitching units.
A standard size chart farma is one pattern model cut in a whole series of sizes. We sell these as sets for boutiques and tailoring units that cut for many customers each week. There are two step sizes - the gap between one size and the next - and this guide shows how each works.
The five sets
There are two different sets of 12: one is 30 to 52 inch in 2-inch steps, the other is 29 to 40 inch in 1-inch steps. Always check the range and the step, not just the count.
Every 2 inch size chart
The sizes go 30, 32, 34 and so on. It covers a wide range with fewer patterns, which suits a shop with a broad mix of customers. A Set of 12 reaches from 30 to 52 inch.
Every 1 inch size chart
The sizes go 29, 30, 31 and so on. It is the finer chart: a customer who falls between two 2-inch sizes usually lands on a 1-inch one. The Set of 20 covers 29 to 48 inch, one size at a time.
Which models come as sets
Standard sets are available for 15 models: 13 blouse models and 2 chudithar tops. Delivery is included in the set price. Browse the models and prices on the standard size sets page.
Standard set or custom-fit?
- Many customers, you adjust on the paper - a standard set.
- One customer who wants a fit without alterations - a custom-fit blouse farma or chudi farma.
A graded size is an average, and a fitted blouse often needs altering from it. We explain why in standard farma vs custom-fit blouse patterns.
