Blouse patterns (farma)

Every blouse farma here is drafted and cut to the measurements you enter — not a standard size graded up or down. Choose your style, fill in your measurements, and we post the paper pattern ready to lay on the fabric.

Which blouse farma should I choose?

The farma is the paper cutting pattern a tailor lays on the cloth. Ours covers 22 blouse designs, and most people start from the back: princess cut if you want shaping through the body, katori for a cup-seamed front, three dart or four dart for a plainer fit, and boat or deep neck where the neckline is the point. Belt or no belt is a separate choice on every one of them. The blouse neck designs page draws every neckline we cut, back and front.

Standard sizes 28 to 44, or your own measurements?

A graded set sold as "all size 28 to 44" is one pattern scaled up and down in fixed steps, so it fits the average of a size rather than a person. We do not sell those. Every farma here is drafted after you order, from the measurements you enter, and we cut sizes 29 to 49 — five sizes beyond the 44 a standard set stops at. If a combination falls outside the charts we call you rather than guess a size the workshop cannot cut.
