Why a chudi farma is harder to get right than a blouse, how ours is drafted for sizes 29 to 50, and which styles you can order.
A chudi cutting farma is the paper pattern for a chudithar - the top, the pant and the flair. Unlike a blouse, a chudi is three parts that all have to agree with each other, so one wrong measurement shows in three places. This guide explains how our custom-fit chudi farma is drafted and what you can order.
Why a chudi needs more care than a blouse
The top decides the shoulder, the bust and the length. The pant decides the waist, the seat and the leg. The flair has to sit correctly over both. If the seat measurement is wrong, the pant pulls; if the top is cut a size off, the sleeves and flair follow it. That is why a standard-size chudi farma causes more problems than a blouse, and why drafting to the wearer matters.
The sizes we draft
Our chudi drafting chart runs from 29 to 50, in 22 sizes. Everything else - waist, seat, length - is drafted around the size you give us. Nothing is interpolated: if your combination of measurements falls outside the chart, we call you instead of posting a guessed size.

Two chudithar top models are also sold as graded size sets for boutiques and stitching units. The details are in the standard size chart farma guide. If you are new to paper patterns, blouse or chudi: which to start with may help.
Frequently asked questions
Is chudi farma the same as salwar or kurti cutting pattern?
They overlap. Farma is the paper pattern; the top may be a kurti or chudithar top and the pant a churidar or salwar. We offer both parts.
What if my size is not between 29 and 50?
Please call us. We do not guess sizes outside the chart.
How long does it take?
The pattern is drafted and cut after you submit your measurements, then posted by courier. Track it on the track your order page.
