A chudithar is not one garment. The top, the pant and the flair all have to agree with each other, which is why a standard size gives more trouble here than it does on a blouse: one measurement out of place shows up in three places at once.
Which measurement the draft starts from
A chudithar farma starts at the chest. We cut 29 to 50 — 22 sizes in all — and the waist, the seat and the length are all drafted around that figure.
Choosing a model
There are 20 chudithar models to choose from — A-line, fish cut, princess cut, rasakali, patiala pant and the rest. Each one is drafted to your own measurements. Nothing is cut in advance.
